Rochester, N.Y – The varsity boys soccer team celebrated senior night on Friday as they were able to blank the visiting South Seneca-Romulus Warriors 3-0. Sophomore Ben Frenett (pictured) notched 2 goals to help the Wolves win their last regular season game.
Freshman Jamarr Paisley scored unassisted 6 minutes into the game to give the Wolves a 1-0 advantage that they would take into halftime. It was Paisley’s 4th goal of the year.
In the 9th minute of the 2nd half Frenett notched his 1st goal off an assist from junior Galen Everett to give HAC a 2-0 lead. With just 6 minutes left in the game, Frenett would score his 2nd goal of the game to push the Wolves to a 3-0 victory.
Frenett finished the regular season leading the team in scoring with 7 goals and 2 assists.
Junior Eric Tolhurst recorded his 6th shutout of the year after recording 1 save in the game. The Wolves held the advantage in corner kicks 4-0 and also outshot the Warriors 15-2.
HAC finished 7-8-1 overall on the season with a 7-4-1 record in the Finger Lakes.
HAC will play in the 1st round of Section V’s Class DD Tournament as the 4th seed and will play Prattsburg, the 5th seed, at the Allendale Columbia School this Friday, October 25th at 3:00 PM.
